We do not control the ingredients in all of the products we sell. Treasured Locks does not have any products under our brands that contain petroleum. Some of the manufacturers we represent do use petroleum. We discourage people from using a lot of petroleum based products or using products that contain a lot of petroleum. But, that does not mean you should never buy any product with any amount of petroleum in it.

Hello, I noticed that some of your hair care products has petroleum, and you had instructed for us not to use vaseline which I thought were basically the same things. Are they not? And if so why are they in some of your products. Thanks.

There is no reason for you to cut off all of you hair just because it has locked. There are now products on the market that can help unravel locks or make it easier to comb them out bo matter how long you've been growing them. You can either Google in dred loc take down (or something like that) or ask a natural hairstylist. Good luck and please don't cut all of your beautiful locs off. One more thing, be very careful with taking out locs. If you are too rough you may damage your hair and then you will have to cut them out.

My hair is locked and I'm ready for a different look. I'm not sure if I can just let my hair grow out some without re-twisting the roots and then cut the locks off. Any answers out there?????????
