We still stand by our statement.  SLS, in the concentrations used in beauty formulations has not been conclusively proven to be an irritant to most people.  Could it possibly cause irritation if left on the skin for extended periods of time?  Of course.  But, many things when not used as directed can cause problems.  

Non SLS shampoos are now more readily available and are fairly reasonably priced.  In fact, we offer several.  But, we do not want to be part of any hype about how "harmful" SLS is.  We believe it is relatively safe.</description>

This is a myth. The tests you are talking about used a 5 percent solution of 99% SLS. Regular shampoo has 10 to 20 percent solution of SLS! Although many of the claims about SLS are hyped beyoned belief, I am still very suspicious about it. Here's an article I wrote about it in relation to hair loss:
